Crochet Bright Coasters in the Form of Sunny Camomiles

Let’s get started:
Connect 7 chain stitches to form a ring.
Row 1. 3 chain stitches, 15 double crochets.
VIEW THE PATTERNS
Row 2. 7 chain stitches (the height of the petal), 3 chain stitches (the width of the outer edge of the petal), 4 double crochets (work the 1st double crochet into the 7th stitch of the 7-stitch chain), 2 half double crochets, 1 crochet joining to the previous row.

Join 1 double crochet to the previous petal on the inner side
Turn the piece over to the right side, 3 chain stitches, 4 double crochets, 2 half double crochets, joining crochet… Repeat this until you reach the end of the row
Row 3. 3 double crochets in each connecting strip. Now, looking at the picture, I understand that the petals would be roundish, if I did not crochet in their connecting strips… More crochets between petals (e.g., 6) would do good; I’ll take it into account in the future.
Row 4. Single сrochet all around.

That’s all! It is obvious that hot pad dimensions depend on the thickness of the yarn and hook. In this case, I used a hook No 5 and my camomiles turned out 15 cm in diameter.
