Stripes and Bubbles Baby Cardigan – Design Concept

Color Palette Ideas

  • Option 1: Soft pastel stripes — mint, blush, butter yellow, and baby blue.
  • Option 2: Earthy tones — cream, clay, moss, and sky.
  • Option 3: Bold and bubbly — turquoise, coral, sunshine yellow, and white.

Stitches to Use

Striped Body: Alternate colors every 2–4 rows using basic single crochet or half-double crochet.

Bubble Texture: Use bobble stitch or popcorn stitch across the yoke, sleeves, or as a border for that fun “bubbles” effect.

You could also do bubble stitch rows in a contrasting color to make them pop.
