So I was just sitting on the sofa playing with one of this cuties when idea came to my head: ” I should learn how to crochet s fidget spinner”.

So I started doing some researches and found a video tutorial that is very easy to follow and with the help of this video tutorial you will get to the finish very fast and very easy.

Of course you can choose the colors you like for your own projects but I am pretty sure that you are not going to stop on only one fidget spinner.

Step 1: Create the Spinner Arms

1. Foundation Chain:
   • Start by chaining 20 stitches. This will create one arm of your spinner.

   Example:
   Ch 20.
   

2. First Row:
   • Work 1 single crochet (sc) in each chain across.

   Example:
   Row 1: Sc in each ch across. (20 sc)
   

3. Subsequent Rows:
   • Continue to work in single crochet for 5-10 rows or until the arm reaches your desired thickness.
4. Finishing Off:
   • Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Pull through the last stitch to secure.
5. Create Two More Arms:
   • Repeat the above steps to create two additional arms. You can make them in the same color or alternate colors for a fun design.

Step 2: Create the Center Piece

1. Start with a Magic Ring:
   • Using your main color or a contrasting color, create a magic ring.

   Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring. (6 sc)
   

2. Increase:
   • Round 2: Work 2 sc in each stitch around.

   Round 2: 2 sc in each st around. (12 sc)
   

3. Continue Increasing:
   • Round 3: 1 sc in the next st, 2 sc in the following st; repeat around.

   Round 3: *1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; repeat around.* (18 sc)
   

   • Round 4: 2 sc in the next st, 1 sc in the next 2 sts; repeat around.

   Round 4: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 2 sts; repeat around.* (24 sc)
   

4. Finish Off:
   • Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for attaching to the arms.

Step 3: Assembly of the Fidget Spinner

1. Join the Arms to the Center:
   • Take one of the arms and sew it to the center piece, ensuring it is securely attached. Repeat for the other two arms, spacing them evenly.
2. Add Washers for Weight:
   • If using washers, place them in the center before fully securing the last arm. This will add stability and help your spinner rotate smoothly.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

1. Weave in Ends:
   • Use a yarn needle to tuck in any loose ends to achieve a clean finish.
2. Optional Stuffing:
   • If desired, add a small amount of stuffing to the center for a plush appearance.
